Partnering with Q:chi

We don't focus heavily on marketing; instead we are primarily concerned with the development and provision of high quality solutions and services. This presents good opportunities for companies to Partner with Q:chi toward mutual benefits by utilising our skill-set and/or taking our solutions to the market.

Our existing Partners have found outsourcing to Q:chi is a very cost-effective way of boosting their solutions and services offering. We are very flexible, and always interested to discuss potential arrangements. Here are some examples...

Example 1 : Solutions Portfolio
Here we provide a range of turn-key business solutions ready for entities and individuals to promote to new and existing customers. Prospective partners may include:
  • Technology companies looking to add Notes & Domino solutions to their catalogue
  • Solutions Consultants looking to expand their best-of-breed portfolio
  • Management Consultants looking for flexible software to support their change management advice

Our solutions can provide flexible branding where necessary and are based on the tried and tested code-base and development standards that we employ.

Example 2 : Product Co-development
In this example, a prospective partner would have isolated a unique gap in the market for a product or service but doesn't have access to the technical resources required to convert the requirement into a software solution.

The Partner may already have a requirements specification or even a full technical project document. Here Q:chi would provide all and any necessary technical input to assist the Partner to supply a custom-built solution into the market. Our Partner would have sole rights to promote and sell the solution according to agreements put in place beforehand.

Q:chi would either charge the Partner solely for technical work completed, or a licensing arrangement would be observed based on the projected future sales performance. All of this type of engagement would be strictly commercial in confidence. At no stage would Q:chi ever compete with the interests of our Partners.

Example 3 : Development and Overflow Services
In this example our resources would fill a technological gap for our Partner on an ongoing basis. Perhaps the Partner has considerable resources, but prefers not to retain resources with skills in Notes/Domino.

Q:chi would pick up the supply of ad hoc services covering: Consultancy, Project Management, Development and Training. This would obviate the need to employ a dedicated Notes/Domino team.
