Qchi build business travel management system for worldwide car manufacturer

A Global car manufacturer asked Q:chi to build a system to allow all employee travel requests to be entered, costed, reviewed and approved in one place. Ease of use, fewest clicks and an elegant user experience were of the utmost importance. They wanted a system which would be fast and responsive and which would prove easy to roll-out to their users with little or no additional training. Integration with the customer's existing management systems was also required to minimise data duplication.

Applications produced using Domino's out-of-the-box web design features is slow and cumbersome for the user and results in excessive page refreshes required in order to present new information or to retrieve dynamic data. However Q:chi developers use the latest web development methodologies and frameworks to produce a state-of-the-art end-user experience but with all of the advantages of Lotus Domino.

The system we delivered allows users to easily enter and manage all their travel requests, it also provides managers with a transparent view of where their employees are at any single point, allowing them complete visibility & control of travel costs. This is all within an application which is responsive, has an intuitive user experience, and which integrates seamlessly with existing intranet and background systems.
